Residential Instructor:
As a residential instructor you would start every shift ready to help those we serve live their life as independently as possible. You would assist with activities of daily living such as administering medication, cooking meals, performing personal hygiene, transportation to medical appointments, day program and activities. You also assist in the implementation of individual behavioral plans. Using effective teaching and mentoring techniques, you teach them new skills and help them achieve goals. Based on each individual's preferences and behavioral plans, you encourage their interests and drive them to community outings and recreational activities. You are happy to help them find greater access to the community. You are conscientious about reporting any concerns about their health and safety and keeping documentation accurate and up-to-date. While you accomplish all of this you will know that you have profoundly impacted the lives of people you serve in ways both large and small. Job:
High School Diploma or its equivalent A valid driver's license Compassion and ability to see the potential in everyone Positivity and a team-player attitude
Schedule :
We operate 24-hour residential group homes which means our Residential Instructors have many shift options including mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, and weekends. Full and Part Time is available. How to
