We are looking for an enthusiastic Resident Engagement Associate to help bring fun, purpose, connection, and meaningful moments to the lives of our residents.
ASSISTED LIVING ACTIVITY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Part-Time or Per Diem | Flexible Schedule | Weekends Required This isn't a position where you'll spend your day sitting behind a desk. You'll be interacting with residents, leading programs, helping with special events, playing games, getting creative, enjoying music, celebrating holidays, and helping make our community feel like home. What You'll Do Lead fun, engaging activities for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. Assist with planning creative programs, special events, parties, entertainment, and outings. Encourage residents to get involved and help even our quieter residents feel included. Lead games, crafts, music, exercise, social programs, cognitive activities, and more. Develop meaningful relationships with residents and learn their interests, personalities, and stories. Provide specialized Memory Care activities including reminiscence, sensory programs, cognitive stimulation, and social engagement. Adapt programs so residents of different abilities can successfully participate. Help with activity setup, cleanup, decorating, supplies, and event preparation. Bring energy, enthusiasm, creativity, and FUN to the community! We're Looking for Someone Who... Has previous activity experience in Assisted Living or senior living —REQUIRED.
Has experience working with individuals living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. Is outgoing and comfortable leading a room full of residents. Is creative and can bring new ideas to the table. Is compassionate, patient, dependable, and positive. Doesn't wait for residents to come to them — you go out and get residents involved! Can work independently while also being a strong team player. Understands that successful resident engagement is about relationships, not just filling an activity calendar. Is flexible and willing to help wherever needed. Can work weekends. Why You'll Love This Position Every day is different!
