Full-Time Residential Care Group, LLP is seeking a dependable and compassionate Full-Time Residential Support Specialist to support adults with serious mental illness in our Supported Rehabilitative Residence (SRR). The position focuses on maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive residential environment while helping residents develop greater independence and stability.
Responsibilities:
Provide supervision and support to residents during assigned shifts. Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, housekeeping, laundry, and community activities. Prepare meals Encourage independent living and social skills. Observe and report changes in residents' behavior, health, or emotional condition. Respond appropriately to emergencies and behavioral-health situations. Complete accurate shift notes, incident reports, and required documentation. Maintain resident confidentiality, dignity, safety, and professional boundaries. Follow Residential Care Group policies and applicable DC behavioral-health requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Mental health, behavioral health, residential care, human services, healthcare, or related experience preferred. Strong communication and documentation skills. Must be dependable, patient, professional, and comfortable working with adults with serious mental illness. Food handling Certificate Must successfully complete applicable background checks and required training. CPR/First Aid certification required or must be obtained as required. Must be available to work a full-time schedule , including assigned days, evenings, overnights, weekends, or holidays as needed. Pay:
