Job Description

•Salary is based on experience and/or qualifications, and is subject to negotiation•Responsible for the daily operation of residential property rehabilitation programs, including rehabilitation loan programs, and first-time home buyer programs. Responsible for maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of departmental records and employee/customer documentation. Performs a variety of routine and complex clerical, secretarial and administrative work in keeping official records, providing administrative support to department staff, and assisting in the administration of the standard operating policies and procedures of the department. Work is performed under direction with moderate latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment. Two (2) or more years' clerical experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment. Must have or be able to obtain notary public certification. Must have a valid Florida driver's license with satisfactory driving record throughout employment. In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully. Applicants who demonstrate they meet the minimum requirements may be subject to an extensive selection process and screening program, which may include, but not be limited to, evaluation of training and experience; psychological evaluation; polygraph examination; background investigation; medical evaluation; controlled substance screen.
