Tamarac, FL Job Details Full-time $21 - $23 an hour 1 day ago Benefits 401(k) Flexible schedule Qualifications Youth recreational activities facilitation Phone communication Filing High school diploma or GED Child Care Director's Certificate Student support Passenger pickup and drop-off Events management Camp experience Full Job Description The Office Assistant Director plays a vital role in the daily operation of All Sports After Care by ensuring the smooth coordination of front office responsibilities, student transportation, parent communication, staff support, and daily program operations. This position serves as the primary support to the Director and helps maintain a safe, organized, welcoming, and efficient environment for students, families, and staff.
Schedule Regular School Days:
12:00 PM - 7:00 PM Hours may vary during Summer Camp, Winter Break, Spring Break, Thanksgiving Break, teacher workdays, holidays, and other school closure days based on program needs. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesStudent Transportation Safely transport students from local elementary schools to the All Sports facility. Ensure all children are accounted for during pick-up and arrival. Follow all transportation safety procedures and maintain accurate attendance records. Immediately report any transportation concerns or incidents to the Director. Front Office Administration Greet parents, visitors, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails promptly. Assist families with registration, enrollment, and program information. Maintain accurate student records and attendance. Process tuition payments and assist with billing using Procare or other management software. Maintain confidentiality of all student and family information. Prepare forms, letters, reports, and other office documents. Order office and program supplies as needed. Daily Program Operations Assist in supervising the daily after-school program. Ensure students are signed in and out properly. Help coordinate student group assignments and staff coverage. Assist with snack distribution and daily schedules. Support coaches and staff in maintaining a safe, positive, and organized environment. Help resolve minor parent or student concerns professionally. Staff Support Assist with employee scheduling and daily staffing adjustments. Support onboarding of new employees. Assist with maintaining employee files and required documentation. Communicate important updates to staff as directed by the Director. Monitor staff attendance and notify the Director of any concerns. Parent Relations Provide excellent customer service to all families. Maintain positive communication with parents regarding schedules, payments, student concerns, and general program information. Assist in resolving concerns promptly and professionally. Compliance and Safety Help ensure the program remains compliant with licensing, safety, and organizational policies. Maintain emergency contact information and required documentation. Assist with incident reports and accident documentation. Help ensure daily attendance records are accurate. Facility Responsibilities Ensure the front office remains clean, organized, and professional. Assist in maintaining a welcoming environment throughout the facility. Report maintenance or safety concerns immediately. Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned. Special Events and School Break Programs Assist with planning and coordinating holiday camps, summer camp, field trips, and special events after hours and during weekends as needed. Support registration and scheduling for seasonal programs. Work flexible hours during school breaks as needed.
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
