Job Description
Mental Health Kokua is growing its residential team in Kona. We support adults living with mental health challenges in community-based housing, and we're looking for steady, dependable people who can help keep the home safe, respectful, and running well. On paper, the work may sound simple: meals, chores, appointments, activities, documentation, medication monitoring, problem-solving, and paying attention when something does not seem right. But in real life, this work matters. As a Residential Assistant, you help create a home where residents can build routine, feel respected, and be supported in their recovery. You help with structure, follow-through, and everyday moments that make a difference. This role is a good fit for someone who is calm, respectful, reliable, and able to work as part of a team. You do not need to have all the answers. You do need to show up, communicate clearly, document your work, follow procedures, and stay steady when the day gets busy or unpredictable.
