Job Description

Job Summary:
Adapt of Illinois, a social services agency, seeks a Residential Services Associate to work second shift (Sunday - Thursday; 3p-11:30p) in a group home setting in Belleville, IL. This position involves providing recovery-based services to adults diagnosed with chronic and severe mental illness.
Responsibilities:
  • Advocating for the needs of an underserved population
  • Conducting individual and group services to assist clients in achieving recovery goals
  • Facilitating community placement and fulfilling other case management duties
  • Documenting all clinical services provided Qualifications /
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of one year of related residential experience required
  • Strong computer, writing, and time management skills
  • Ability to work five 8-hour days per week including one weekend day per week and some holidays
  • An interest in working in a team environment where clinical skill development is valued
  • A strong desire to help individuals with mental illness recover lost skills and reduce stigma
Salary:
Starting hourly range of $18.50 - $21.25 per hour commensurate with experience
