What You'll Do Performs wellness check on residents. Serves meals. Sweeps the dining room floor after meals. Empties the garbage from each residential suite. Responds to the resident emergency pendant alarms. Monitors the door entry system. Admits and greets authorized guests, maintaining
COVID-19
protocols, as necessary. Enters activities into the daily logbook. Creates orders and reviews them with the manager. Files documents. Organizes files for inspections. Copies and prints documents and correspondence. Answers the phones and responds to resident requests and concerns. Provides basic information about the building and takes messages. Plans and implements appropriate activities as assigned. Assists with resident activities, such as meal orders, menu feedback, and setting up of meal services. Maintains professional bearing in all situations. Assists in the coordination of volunteer programs (including scheduling, communications, and attendance). Assists in the coordination of the annual event that recognizes volunteers. May accompany residents during off-site outings. When assigned, prepares monthly calendar of events. Assists in the design of flyers. Meets with new residents to provide orientation relating to the building. Monitors inventory of supplies and equipment and orders when necessary. Attends meetings and in-services as necessary. Maintains activity hours monthly. What You'll Bring Required qualifications A high school diploma or GED is required. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends. Preferred qualifications A bachelor's degree is preferred.
