Qualifications Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Residential Team Lead to oversee daily operations within our residential care program. This vital role involves guiding and supporting a team of direct care staff to deliver exceptional, person-centered services to individuals with diverse needs, including developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, and behavioral health challenges. The Residential Team Lead ensures compliance with all regulatory standards, maintains high-quality individual care, and fosters a positive, safe environment for persons served. Responsibilities All required training is provided. Pay is $20 per hour. This is a Mon-Fri 10 am - 6 pm work schedule with on call responsibilities. On call responsibilities will rotate every two weeks. • Extra compensation is provided for on call duties. Supervise and mentor direct care staff, providing ongoing training in areas such as crisis intervention (Mandt), behavior management, medication administration, and documentation. Ensure persons served have a safe and clean environment to live in. Assist in daily tasks; meals, cleaning, hygiene, toileting, and etc. Coordinate daily schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels to meet staffing needs and program goals. On call responsibilities- includes finding coverage for call ins and possibly covering the shift until coverage arrives. Provide support and guidance as needed to direct support staff. Oversee the implementation of individualized care plans and supports. Attend team meetings and provide insight and feedback for possible updates. Monitor persons served health status by regularly assessing vital signs, managing medication administration, and oversight of documentation in medical records/electronic health records (EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct crisis management and intervention when necessary, ensuring safety for persons served and staff during behavioral or medical emergencies. Ensure all documentation related to behavior management, progress notes, and other documentation are being done timely and correctly, adhering to confidentiality standards. Oversee and assist with persons served moves. (i.e. packing, unpacking, organizing, cleaning etc.) Coordinate outings and shopping for persons served. Ensure you and your staff are current on all required training and credentialing. Assist in training and orientation of new personnel to assigned group home and day programs. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age Must have a valid driver's license Must pass all background checks Must be flexible in schedule for on call responsibilities. Must have strong adaptative and problem-solving skills. Scheduling experience preferred. Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, and have an exceptional work ethic. Proven experience (2 years) working with individuals with disabilities, including developmental disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Willing to learn and support staff with crisis intervention and behavior management techniques (Mandt) as well as other required trainings. Familiarity with basic computer applications for documentation and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Must adhere with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
