Job Summary:
The Residential Support Staff is responsible for supporting the daily living and psychosocial needs of residents at Pollard Place. This role involves monitoring day-to-day operations, assisting residents with basic life skills, and supervising medication self-administration, while fostering a safe and supportive environment for individuals with severe mental illness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist and monitor residents with daily living skills Supervise medication self-administration in accordance with guidelines Provide support with psychosocial rehabilitation activities Maintain a structured and safe residential environment Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and supervisors Document resident activities and progress as required
Experience and Qualifications:
Must be able to work with and relate to adults with severe mental illness in a residential setting Strong written and verbal communication skills required Prior experience working with individuals with SMI (serious mental illness) is preferred This is a full time position
