The Empowerment Academy is looking for a dependable and caring person to join our team as a Part-Time Live-In Resident Assistant . The Empowerment Academy serves young adults who are experiencing housing instability and are working toward their educational goals. We provide a safe and supportive place to live while helping residents build the skills and stability they need to move forward. The Resident Assistant will live on-site and serve as a consistent, supportive presence for our residents. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young adults, can build positive relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries, and wants to make a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities include:

Helping create a safe, welcoming, and respectful home environment Building positive and supportive relationships with residents Helping residents follow house expectations and routines Being available to assist with resident needs or concerns during designated hours Communicating concerns and updates to Empowerment Academy leadership Helping residents develop independence and work toward their goals We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and responsible Approachable and comfortable working with young adults A good communicator and problem-solver Able to maintain appropriate boundaries Supportive of young adults working toward greater independence and stability This is a part-time position and requires living on-site.
