Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team at our assisted living facility. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct support and care to our senior residents. Duties:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with residents
• Ensure resident safety and well-being at all times
• Assist with medication reminders and administration under the supervision of licensed staff
• Help residents maintain their independence and dignity
• Support residents with dementia care needs
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
• Transport residents to appointments or activities as needed ###

Requirements:

• Previous experience in senior care or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of resident rights and assisted living regulations
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and staff members
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with residents
• Physical ability to lift and assist residents as needed
