SUD Program Shift:
11:00 PM-7:00 AM Position Summary The Awake Overnight Residential House Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, compliant, and recovery-supportive residential environment during overnight hours. This position monitors the residence and clients, enforces program policies, completes required safety checks and documentation, and responds appropriately to emergencies or client concerns. Key Responsibilities Maintain the safety and security of clients and the residential facility throughout the overnight shift. Conduct and document required overnight safety, wellness, and facility checks according to program policy. Monitor client activity and ensure compliance with house rules, curfews, and program expectations. Respond promptly to emergencies, behavioral concerns, suspected substance use, medical issues, or other safety concerns and follow established escalation procedures. Complete accurate shift notes, safety logs, incident reports, and other required documentation. Ensure the residence remains compliant with organizational policies, safety procedures, and applicable program requirements. Maintain awareness of client whereabouts and report unauthorized absences or other significant concerns according to policy. Monitor the facility for hazards, security concerns, prohibited items, or maintenance issues and report or address concerns promptly. Support medication procedures within the employee's authorized role and certification. Maintain client confidentiality, professional boundaries, and appropriate staff-client interactions. Complete an effective shift handoff to incoming staff, including communication of incidents, client concerns, safety issues, and follow-up needs. Perform light household and organizational duties as needed to ensure the residence is safe and prepared for the next shift. Qualifications Experience in residential behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, recovery services, or a related setting preferred. Certified Medication Technician (CMT) credential required if performing medication-related duties. CPR/First Aid certification required or obtained within the timeframe established by the program. Ability to remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the entire overnight shift. Strong judgment and ability to respond calmly and appropriately during emergencies. Ability to follow policies, safety protocols, confidentiality requirements, and documentation standards. Dependable, professional, and able to work independently with limited overnight supervision.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
