2988267509-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Hope Network is seeking a compassionate Residential Instructor to support adults with disabilities and mental health needs in a Breton Valley residential program on 2nd shift. In this role, you will provide direct care, assist with daily living activities, and implement individualized care plans that promote dignity, independence, and inclusion. You will monitor and document client progress, support community outings, and help maintain a safe, supportive home environment. Working within a collaborative, mission-driven team, you'll receive training, growth opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact every shift. Responsibilities Provide direct care and support to adults with disabilities and mental health needs in a residential setting Implement individualized care plans and behavioral support strategies as directed Monitor, document, and report client progress, behaviors, and incidents accurately and timely Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meals, housekeeping, and medication reminders per policy Promote independence, dignity, and community inclusion for residents Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment on 2nd shift Collaborate with clinical and support teams to coordinate client-centered care De-escalate challenging situations using approved crisis intervention techniques Support transportation, community outings, and therapeutic activities as needed Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and quality improvement efforts Required Skills Resident care and supervision Behavioral support and de-escalation Person-centered care planning Documentation and recordkeeping Medication assistance per policy (non-clinical) Basic caregiving and ADL support Crisis intervention techniques Communication and teamwork Safety and risk awareness Cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed care
