Resident Assistant Red Cedar Lodge Senior Living Red Cedar Lodge Senior Living is seeking compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Resident Assistants to join our team. We currently have openings for full-time and part-time positions on 1st shift , as well as a part-time position on 2nd shift . Position Summary The Resident Assistant provides compassionate, hands-on support to residents while helping promote their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with older adults and making a meaningful difference in their daily lives. Available Positions Full-Time Resident Assistant — 1st Shift Part-Time Resident Assistant — 1st Shift Part-Time Resident Assistant — 2nd Shift Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care as needed. Support residents with mobility, transfers, dressing, grooming, and other daily activities. Assist with meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration. Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation. Monitor residents and report changes in condition or behavior to appropriate team members. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Follow resident care plans, safety procedures, and company policies. Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers. Protect resident privacy and promote dignity, choice, and independence. Complete required documentation accurately and timely. Qualifications Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to resident care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Previous senior living, assisted living, caregiving, or healthcare experience is preferred but may not be required depending on applicable training requirements. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position and perform hands-on resident care duties as needed. Willingness to work assigned schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
