About Open Hands, Inc. Open Hands, Inc. provides residential support services to adults with disabilities in small, community-based group home settings. We are seeking a dependable and organized Residential Services Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of one of our residential programs. This position is ideal for someone with experience in disability services, healthcare, residential services, or direct support who is ready to take on additional leadership and administrative responsibilities. The Residential Services Coordinator works closely with management and direct support staff to ensure client needs are met, documentation is accurate, staff are supported, and the home remains organized and compliant. Primary Responsibilities Support the daily operations of an assigned residential program. Provide guidance, direction, and ongoing support to direct support staff. Assist with training staff on client-specific needs, routines, documentation, and skill-building goals. Review and audit client documentation, financial records, petty cash, transaction logs, and other required records. Maintain accurate client face sheets, emergency packets, appointments, calendars, and required program documentation. Maintain professional and constructive communication with employees, clients, guardians, families, and other members of the support team. Assist with scheduling client appointments and coordinating transportation when necessary. Prepare documentation and information needed for client meetings, care conferences, and other required meetings. Monitor completion of activities of daily living, personal care responsibilities, household routines, and client programming. Administer medications and follow medication-administration procedures as required. Assist management with employee scheduling, attendance concerns, and identifying staffing coverage needs. Monitor the residential environment to ensure cleanliness, safety, organization, and compliance with company expectations. Identify operational or staffing concerns and communicate them promptly to management. Provide direct client support when necessary during scheduled working hours. Complete additional administrative and residential program duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Experience working with adults with disabilities, healthcare, residential services, or a related human-services setting Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to communicate professionally with employees, clients, families, and management Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and electronic documentation systems Ability to maintain confidential information and accurate records
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Social Services, Business Administration, or a related field Three or more years of experience in healthcare, disability services, residential services, or a related field Previous lead, supervisory, or management experience Experience working in a Community Residential Services (CRS) or group-home environment Experience with medication administration, documentation audits, staff training, and regulatory compliance Schedule Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM This position is primarily scheduled during daytime administrative hours. Occasional schedule adjustments may be necessary based on client meetings, appointments, training, emergencies, or operational needs.
Pay:
$48,000.00 - $57,600.00 per year
