This position maintains an onsite presence during scheduled hours and helps provide a safe, secure, and supportive residential environment for program participants. Available Shifts Weekends 6pm-Midnight Weekends 8am-4pm Weekdays 9am-1pm As needed: Midnight-8am, 6pm-Midnight Primary Responsibilities Safety and Residential Support Build supportive, professional relationships with participants and staff through daily interactions and communication. Monitor onsite activities, including participant and guest arrivals and departures. Conduct routine walkthroughs of living and common areas to identify safety, security, or maintenance concerns. Monitor video safety equipment and respond to concerns as appropriate. Conduct safety searches in accordance with established policies and procedures. Administer and document urinalysis and breathalyzer testing in accordance with established procedures. Provide access to participant medications and document receipt in accordance with established procedures. Respond to and promptly report incidents or concerns, including medical emergencies, severe weather, safety issues, facility maintenance needs, and concerns related to program expectations. Communicate incidents and concerns to the appropriate onsite or on-call supervisor and complete required documentation. Program and Facility Support Assist the Transitional Support Specialist with preparing apartments for participant arrival and completing inspections following discharge. Document participants' personal belongings at move-in and move-out. Answer facility phone calls and direct callers as appropriate. Attend Transitional Support Team meetings, training, and other required meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. Working Relationships Frequent communication and collaboration with the Lead Transitional Support Monitor, Transitional Support Specialist and Program Manager. Regular communication and collaboration with other Keyway staff. Daily interaction with program participants. Qualifications Education High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required. Experience Two years of work experience preferred. Criminal justice, residential services, behavioral health, social services, or related experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-management skills. Ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries. Ability to work respectfully and effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds. Professional, approachable, and supportive communication style. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and remain calm and effective under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to complete clear and accurate documentation. Willingness to learn about mental health and substance use disorders and apply that knowledge when supporting participants. Willingness to learn and apply trauma-informed care and strength-based practices. Work Environment/Physical Demands Requires considerable concentration and attention to surroundings. Work is subject to moderate to frequent interruptions. Moderate noise level. Low to moderate eye strain associated with monitoring screens and completing documentation. Ability to routinely walk throughout the residential property and navigate stairs as part of safety checks and other job responsibilities.
