As the Week Night Resident Advisor , you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through: Helps ensure the safety and security of the tenants, staff and property by making rounds every two hours during the shift. Rounds includes but is not limited to: ensuring that doors and windows are secure; checking stairwells, ensuring visitors are not wandering the building; addressing spills, trash on the floor, etc.; noting in the log book any maintenance or other concerns that need to be addressed by the site manager Completes incident report for any reportable incidents including medical emergencies; police, EMS or fire department presence; tenant conflicts, etc Maintains routine availability for emergency situations in conjunction with Site Manager and Director of SRO Housing, including participating in Fire Watches as needed. Assists in maintenance of building security and all aspects of health and safety at site, including shoveling (1 inch of snow or more) and salting stairs and walkways as needed, at all entrance and exits during inclement weather. Keeps snow log up-to-date Maintains RA log book ensuring it is up-to-date with accurate and detailed information Smoke detection/fire alarm and security/lock systems are maintained by outside agencies. RA should report failures to Site Manager immediately and note in log book
