What they do
A Residential Assistant or Advisor works in a residential mental health, long-term care, or substance abuse treatment facility and provides support for patients, including resolving conflicts, helping them adjust to their environment, and alleviating concerns. Performs inspections and assists with move-ins and facility programming.

Job Description
Part Time 24 hours per week
Duties:
- Assist staff with day-to-day operations of the residential program.
- Document notable observations and/or significant interactions with residents.
- Conduct rounds and security checks of the residents and facility.
- Conduct routine and random searches of resident's personal property.
- Administer breathalyzer and drug screen tests.
- Assist and oversee residents with self-administration of medication.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with direct care in residential setting desired, but not required.
- CNA, HHA, PCA, Residential and Milieu Counselors are welcome to apply.
