Job Description

Make a Difference in the Lives of Youth at The Ranch of Opportunity The Ranch of Opportunity provides a peaceful, spacious environment where adolescents can step away from the pressures of an urban setting and negative peer influences. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing place where young women can live, learn, heal, and develop the skills they need to build a brighter future. We are currently hiring Full-Time Residential Specialists for 2nd and 3rd shifts , as well as a Full-Time Assistant Shift Lead for 2nd shift. About the Position The Ranch of Opportunity is an adolescent residential treatment center serving girls ages 13-17 who have experienced a high prevalence of traumatic events. Our team members play an important role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment where residents can work toward their individual goals and continue their journey toward healing and growth. Residential Specialists are responsible for the direct sight-and-sound supervision of clients while they are in treatment, as well as supporting the implementation of program policies, procedures, and therapeutic interventions. Successful candidates will be compassionate, dependable, patient, and committed to helping young people navigate challenges and develop positive life skills. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in behavioral healthcare or working with adolescents is preferred Valid driver's license, current car insurance, and a safe driving record Must be at least 21 years of age Must successfully complete Safe Crisis Management (SCM) training , which includes instruction in de-escalation techniques and physical safety interventions used to help maintain a safe environment for clients and staff Available Positions & Shifts Assistant Shift Lead
