Job Description
Direct Support Professional Residential / Day Program Hybrid Position (Full-Time)RH006Thursday - Saturday, 8a - 8p, Fulltime 30 hours Join our team in a unique hybrid role that combines both Residential and Day Program services, allowing you to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in both their home environment and community-based day programming.
In this position, staff will begin their shift within a residential setting, assist individuals with their morning routines and daily living needs, transport and support participants throughout the Day Program from approximately 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and then return to the residential home to complete the remainder of the 12-hour shift.
This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, flexible, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of others while working in both residential and community-based settings.

Position Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support to individuals in both residential and day program environmentsAssist with personal care, hygiene, meals, medication administration, and daily living activitiesSupport individuals with emotional well-being, communication, social skills, and positive behavioral supportsTransport and accompany individuals safely between residential homes, community activities, appointments, and Day Program servicesLead and participate in recreational, vocational, educational, and community-based activitiesMonitor participant well-being and document behavioral, medical, or physical changes while maintaining accurate and confidential recordsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in both residential homes and program spacesFollow all agency policies, OSHA standards, infection control procedures, and emergency protocolsWork collaboratively with team members, supervisors, families, and healthcare providers to ensure quality care and supportAttend required trainings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunitiesQualifications & Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED requiredValid drivers license with acceptable driving recordAbility to complete required trainings, including CPR, First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration CertificationStrong communication, teamwork, and organizational skillsAbility to assist with lifting, transfers, and active support needs as requiredExperience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred but not requiredBasic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office; Therap experience preferredThis position provides the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with individuals across multiple settings while helping promote independence, safety, community inclusion, and overall quality of life.Please see full Residential and Day Program job descriptions attached.
