Job Description

Remote - Must Reside in Florida Psych Health Associates is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position supporting providers and patients across the post-acute care continuum. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, customer service-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced virtual healthcare environment.
Important:
Applicants must currently reside in the State of Florida. Candidates living outside of Florida will not be considered. Position Details Full-Time Remote (Florida Residents Only)
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour What You'll Do As a Remote Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting providers, coordinating patient care, and ensuring efficient daily operations.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate patient care and provider communication Manage provider schedules and appointment coordination Serve as a liaison between hospitals, providers, and primary care offices Communicate with patients, providers, and healthcare facilities Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally Review patient charts and maintain accurate documentation Enter and update patient information within EMR systems Process orders, including faxing and mailing as needed Generate and review billing and operational reports Collaborate closely with the Operations Team to support quality patient care What We're Looking For Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) BLS Certification Experience obtaining and documenting vital signs Previous experience with EMR systems Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Employer-Paid Life Insurance Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid Time Off 401(k) Retirement Plan Continuing Education Opportunities Why Join Spectrum Medical Partners?
