Job Description

Responsibilities of the

PT Weekday Activity Helper:

To supervise students during weekday activities and help with student supervision as needed. Employee will report directly to Assistant Director of Residential Life and Director of Residential Life. Employee will supervise students in an activity setting, in the school gym, Activity room and off campus. Employee will follow all departmental and school policies. The employee will use good judgement and safety protocols. Work environment will change depending on activity or task assigned to be completed. Employee may work outside, work inside, and transport students in state vehicles. Must be able to use a computer for reporting purposes. Please note that on extended break student departure days, student return days, and extended breaks, this employee will not work. Supervise students in Activity Room. Assist with evening activities. Assist with students with TILL time (student requires study time). Set up and clean-up activities. Supervise students participating in on-campus and off-campus activities, as assigned. Transport students around campus as needed. Transport students to activities, both on and off campus using a state vehicle. Complete required documentation. Other tasks as assigned by supervisor. Must have a high School diploma, be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.

Additional Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license. Must be willing to drive a state of South Carolina vehicle. Must have ability to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to use a computer and Microsoft suite. Must be able to hear, speak and understand English. Must have effective communication skills.
