Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Resident Assistant, a vital role committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents. As a Resident Assistant, you will provide compassionate support, assist with daily activities, and foster a safe, engaging environment for individuals with diverse needs. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while developing valuable caregiving skills in a dynamic and supportive environment emphasizing the importance of your contribution to our residents well-being. Available shifts Dayshift positions 7AM-7PM Overnight positions 7PM-7AM Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support when necessary Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents health status is maintained Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met in accordance with care plans Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas to uphold hygiene standards and create a welcoming environment Requirements Prior experience in assisted living facilities is highly preferred Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is advantageous Ability to perform personal care tasks safely and compassionately while respecting resident dignity Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, and families Join us if you're passionate about caregiving and eager to support individuals in achieving their best quality of life!
