Job DescriptionDavid Weekley Homes is seeking a highly motivated Summer 2027 Builder/Construction Management Intern who is passionate about learning all aspects of the homebuilding business to join our team in Austin.
Responsibilities:
Become familiar with the home building process from pre-contract to post closeParticipate in warranty process including processing warranty requests and customer concerns/issuesBuilding the David Weekley WayUnderstanding all functions of a builders day-to-day activities including scheduling, quality assurance, safety, cost and material controlUnderstanding customer service and its impact on the businessQualificationsMust be currently enrolled in a full-time college program with an interest in pursuing residential construction. Must have housing available in the San Antonio, TX area for the duration of the internshipAble to work up to 40 hours per weekAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
