Job Description

Sponsored Residential Host Provider Pay:
$4,000-$6,000 per month, per individual supported, based on the individual's support tier
Service Areas:
Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Hampton, Newport News, and Richmond Inclusive Living Solutions, LLC is seeking compassionate individuals, couples, and families interested in becoming Sponsored Residential Hosts for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Sponsored Residential Host, you will welcome an individual into your home and provide daily support while helping them live as independently and meaningfully as possible. Compensation $4,000-$6,000 per month per individual supported, based on the individual's tier and level of support needs. A maximum of 2 individuals receiving sponsored residential services may be supported in the home. What You'll Do Sponsored Residential Hosts provide a safe, supportive home environment and assist individuals with needs such as: Daily routines and personal care Medication administration Community activities and appointments Life skills and independence Safety and supervision Social and recreational activities Electronic documentation Collaboration with Inclusive Living Solutions staff and other professionals Basic Requirements Applicants must: Be at least 21 years old Have a high school diploma or GED Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Have a suitable home in Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Hampton, Newport News, or Richmond Be able to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy for the home (we will assist with starting this process) Pass required background and Central Registry checks Have all adults living in the home complete required screenings Complete required training before an individual can be placed in the home Be comfortable completing documentation electronically Demonstrate financial stability If you rent your home: Your landlord must allow you to rent/sublease a room to an individual receiving services. Training Required training is provided by Inclusive Living Solutions. Some training is completed in person in Hampton, Virginia, with the majority completed online. Applicants should be prepared to complete 8 hours of required synchronized training before placement. This training is unpaid. Preferred Applicants We especially encourage applicants who: Own their home Have residential or caregiving experience Have experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities Have a medical or nursing background Have a single-story home (not required, but preferred) Have previously operated or worked in a DBHDS-sponsored residential home Important The approval process generally takes approximately 1-1.5 months before an individual can move into your home. Timing depends on completion of training, background checks, documentation, and home approval requirements. Email inquiries only. No phone calls, please.
