Job Description
Residential Team Lead
- Overnight Weekends (Fri-Sun, 8 PM-8 AM) + As Needed During the Week

Schedule:
Friday- Sunday | 8:00 PM-8:00 AM Additional availability as needed during the week for coverage, appointments, emergencies, meetings, or other residential needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and supervision to individuals with IDD.
- Take the lead during assigned shifts and ensure staff responsibilities are completed.
- Ensure medications are administered and documented correctly.
- Monitor the home throughout overnight hours and respond appropriately to client needs or behaviors.
- Ensure Therap documentation, daily logs, support notes, and other required documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized residential environment.
- Communicate incidents, concerns, staffing issues, and important updates to management promptly.
- Assist with scheduling and staff coverage when needed.
- Help ensure clients are prepared for appointments, day support, transportation, and daily activities.
- Follow all Brighter Days Housing policies, individual support plans, and safety procedures.
- Serve as a positive example for DSP staff and help maintain accountability across the team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
- Previous Team Lead, Lead DSP, residential, or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Must be dependable and able to work the full weekend overnight schedule.
- Must be willing to assist during the week as needed.
- Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
- Must be comfortable addressing staff concerns and reporting issues to management.
- CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, and behavioral intervention training preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
