Responsibilities Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Assist with medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure resident health and safety Provide compassionate care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care techniques Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers Engage residents in social activities and recreational programs to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Maintain cleanliness of resident areas, including personal spaces and common areas, adhering to health standards Document care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and report any changes in resident condition Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or residential care environments preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's support strategies, and memory care techniques Ability to perform safe patient lifting practices and manual handling with heavy lifting when necessary Familiarity with vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic first aid/CPR certification required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is highly valued Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely when required for community outings or appointments Join us in creating a caring community where every individual receives personalized attention.
