Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to residents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents while respecting their rights and dignity. This role is essential in delivering long-term care and ensuring that individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia receive the specialized attention they need. Duties Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' well-being. Monitor and document residents' health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Ensure a safe and clean environment by maintaining hygiene standards and assisting with light housekeeping tasks. Support residents in participating in social activities and community engagement to promote their independence. Uphold resident rights by advocating for their needs and preferences while fostering a respectful atmosphere. Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique requirements. Experience Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas: Social work principles related to caregiving. Working within group homes or personal care home environments. Understanding of long-term care practices and regulations. Familiarity with home community care systems and resident rights advocacy. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or providing dementia care is highly desirable. Pay:
