A Social or Human Services Assistant assists with identifying and arranging community services for clients. Works with social workers and other human services professionals. Helps with rehabilitation for people with disabilities or those in recovery, or coordinates home care services for the elderly; may also coordinate housing or job training assistance for immigrants, veterans, former inmates or families in crisis.
9528 Overview The TES Agent Assistant will be responsible for implementing and coordinating the goals and objectives for the Limestone County 4-H program. For the County 4-H Program, the Agent Assistant will work with schools and volunteers to coordinate and/or facilitate in-school, after-school, and special interest community 4-H clubs. May also do office work as needed, such as answer phones, make copies, and assist office visitors. The majority of the work for this position will be done in the classroom(s) of schools located throughout Limestone County Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent AND 4 years of experience in providing educational programs/services, customer service, or administrative support.
