We support clients across the Denver metro area, with a focus on practical, client-centered support that helps people build sustainable, independent lives in recovery. Position Summary We're looking for a compassionate, organized Recovery Coach to work directly with clients residing in sober living homes in Lakewood and Aurora. This role focuses on resourcing clients, relapse prevention, job search support, and life skills development. This is a flexible, part-time position with an optional opportunity to occasionally step in as a group facilitator. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 recovery coaching to clients living in sober living homes Connect clients with community resources (housing, healthcare, benefits, transportation, etc.) Support relapse prevention planning and early-warning strategies Assist clients with job searching, resume building, and interview prep Coach clients on life skills: budgeting, time management, communication, and daily structure Maintain accurate, timely documentation of coaching sessions per Medicaid/company standards Coordinate with case managers and clinical staff on client progress and needs
Optional:
serve as a group facilitator as needed, leading psychoeducational or life-skills groups Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to confidentiality (HIPAA/42 CFR Part 2) standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, in one of the following: Psychology, social work, or a related field, OR Any field, with a minimum of 1 year of experience working in behavioral health Lived experience or professional experience in substance use recovery strongly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds Reliable transportation to travel between Lakewood and Aurora sites Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Comfortable with basic documentation/EHR systems Schedule 28-36 hours per week, flexible scheduling Some evening/weekend availability offered for group facilitation coverage Compensation & Benefits $25 - $30/hour, W-2 position Clinical supervision and training provided
