Job Description

Position Overview The Resident Assistant is responsible for assisting residents during the dining process by safely removing, storing, and returning walkers, while supporting other assigned tasks as needed.
Essential Functions Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Assist residents by safely removing walkers from the dining room and storing them in designated areas during dinner service. Locate and return walkers to residents once they have completed their meals. Monitor dining room flow to ensure residents receive prompt assistance. Maintain a safe and organized environment for residents and staff. Provide support with additional assigned tasks during periods of downtime. Additional Responsibilities Every incidental duty connected with the Resident Assistant position cannot be specified in this job description. The incumbent may be required to perform duties not listed as business needs require.
Physical Requirements:
Requires standing, walking, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, and the ability to safely assist with mobility equipment. Educational/Professional Qualifications High school diploma preferred. Previous experience working with seniors or in a customer service environment is beneficial. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Strong attention to safety and resident service. Ability to communicate effectively and courteously. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Dependability and punctuality.
