Description Siouxland Community Health Center has a full-time opening for: Recovery Coach Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:
  • Education:
    High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Lived experience related to recovery, substance use disorder or family/community recovery support strongly preferred; experience providing peer support, recovery coaching, outreach, or working with individuals with substance use disorder preferred.
  • Completion of approved Peer Recovery Specialist training following hire
  • Ongoing education in harm reduction, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and systems navigation. Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:
  • Provide ongoing recovery support, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention support, and early re-engagement for individuals with OUDs.
  • Assist patients in identifying recovery goals, overcoming barriers to treatment engagement, and maintaining connection to medical, behavioral health, and community-based recovery services.
  • Collaborate closely with substance use navigators, medical providers, and community partners to support continuity of care and long-term recovery stability.
