In this role, you will engage with youth from diverse backgrounds, especially those from underserved communities, providing mentorship, support, and guidance to foster positive development. Your energetic approach will help build trusting relationships, promote healthy behaviors, and empower youth to reach their full potential. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with youth, families, and community partners to create impactful programs that inspire growth and resilience. Responsibilities Develop and implement youth development programs that promote adolescent growth, social skills, and positive behavioral interventions in classroom and community settings Build strong relationships with youth by providing mentorship, encouragement, and support tailored to individual needs Coordinate activities that support high-risk populations, ensuring inclusive participation for culturally diverse communities Conduct case management with youth and their families to address challenges related to child welfare, behavioral health, and special education needs Facilitate conflict management strategies and positive behavioral supports (PBIS) to promote respectful interactions among youth Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, program participation, and progress reports using Microsoft Office tools Collaborate with families, schools, social workers, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support for youth development Skills Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or community settings Knowledge of special education practices and behavioral health principles Strong understanding of adolescent development and high-risk population support strategies Bilingual abilities preferred to effectively serve diverse communities Excellent communication skills for client interaction and family engagement Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing and documentation Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a positive environment Experience with youth programs teaching or mentoring is highly valued Familiarity with child welfare systems, case management processes, and working within underserved communities Compassionate approach combined with strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously Join us in creating a supportive environment where young people can thrive!
