Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment Assistant Full Time | Days (8:30am - 4:30pm) Pay Rate up to $19.50/hour Our mission is to "Touch People's Lives", and to us, it is more than a mission, it is a way of life! Requirements of an Activities Assistant -
Life Enrichment Assistant:
Certificate in Life Enrichment program; or three to six month's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid driver's license. Current CPR preferred. Responsibilities of an Activities Assistant -
Life Enrichment Assistant:
Follows up quickly on resident requests or needs. Answers the phone with a smile, knowing that a smile can be "heard" on the phone. Arranges chairs, tables, or necessary supplies in designated rooms or other areas for scheduled Life Enrichment engagements and events such as parties, exercise, discussion groups, games, or movies. Notifies residents of schedules and events; encourages residents to attend planned Life Enrichment programs. Leads groups, clubs, and events as assigned by Life Enrichment Director, and in accordance with programming and residents' needs. Conducts one-to-one visits with residents in accordance with programming and residents' needs. Operates audiovisual and other similar equipment, and monitors engagement of residents during programs. Drives bus to transport residents to and from recreational trips, tours, and outings; complies with local traffic and safety regulations. Assists residents in and out of buses during recreational outings, and follows safety practices during all activity. Our employees live out our mission each and every day.
