- Kent County Probation and Parole Care One is seeking a dedicated Peer Recovery Coach for a full-time position serving Kent County Probation and Parole Offices in Grand Rapids, MI. Probation/Parole Offices
- Kent County, MI Monday-Friday
- no nights, weekends, or holidays 8:00am
- 4:30pm $36.

This position is trained by MDOC to provide direct support to individuals on probation or parole with substance abuse histories. Responsibilities of the
Recovery Coach:
Educate about substance use disorders, recovery pathways, medicated assisted treatment (MAT) options, and community resources. Create personalized plans to ensure the care and support meet the individual's needs and circumstances. Build rapport to motivate individuals throughout their recovery journey. Provide group and one on one support to program participants. Collaborate with providers and agents to ensure adherence and engagement. Qualifications of the

Current
MDHHS CPRC
certification
- issued after November 2024 Personal experience with a substance use disorder 3+ years of sobriety Familiarity with substance use disorders and the role of MAT.
Ability to build rapport and engage individuals in recovery services. Experience providing resources, individually and community based Proficiency in creating personalized plans, conducting assessments, and tracking recovery progress.
