- Meaningful, Rewarding Work What does a Family Support Worker do? As a FSW , you'll work directly with children and families receiving services through Nebraska DHHS. Depending on the case, you may:
- Supervise Parent-Child Visits
- Help create safe, positive experiences for children and parents.
- Provide Transportation
- Transport children and/or parents to visits and other approved activities.
- Provide Family Support
- Help families work toward goals involving parenting, employment, housing, budgeting, household management, and more.
- Complete Documentation
- Document the services you provide and the progress you observe.
- Drug Testing
- Opportunities to conduct UAs, sweat patches, oral swabs, and breathalyzer testing.
