  • Life Coach / Educator to lead interactive workshops and programs for students, school staff, and parents .
This role is ideal for someone who knows how to connect with people, command a room, inspire participation, and turn meaningful conversations into practical skills people can use in their everyday lives. Our facilitators don't simply teach a lesson—they create experiences. Through interactive activities, discussions, reflection, movement, and real-life application, you will help participants strengthen essential social, emotional, and behavioral skills . What You'll Do Facilitate engaging SEL workshops and multi-session programs for students, parents, and school staff Lead conversations around real-life social and emotional challenges Teach practical strategies participants can apply beyond the session Create a positive, inclusive, and high-energy environment that encourages participation Use activities, group discussions, reflection, games, and experiential learning to reinforce concepts Adapt your communication and facilitation style for different age groups and audiences Build strong relationships with students, families, educators, and school communities Follow Equality Education's curriculum and program structure while bringing your own personality and facilitation style Encourage participants to reflect, communicate, problem-solve, and develop greater self-awareness Represent Equality Education professionally at partner schools and organizations Topics You May Facilitate Programs may focus on areas such as: Confidence & Self-Worth Emotional Regulation Communication Resilience Self-Awareness Positive Self-Talk Decision-Making Healthy Relationships Conflict Resolution Goal Setting Leadership Stress Management Growth Mindset Accountability Who We're Looking For This role may be a great fit for a: Life Coach Teacher SEL Educator Youth Development Professional Mentor Workshop Facilitator Counselor/Educator Motivational Speaker Group Coach We are looking for someone who: Is naturally engaging, encouraging, and comfortable leading groups Can connect authentically with both young people and adults Has experience working with students, families, educators, or community groups Can make serious topics feel relatable, interactive, and approachable Is comfortable facilitating rather than simply lecturing or presenting Has strong communication and interpersonal skills Can confidently manage different personalities and group dynamics Is dependable, organized, professional, and prepared Is receptive to training, feedback, and coaching Can follow an established curriculum while making the experience feel natural and authentic Is passionate about helping people recognize their strengths and continue developing themselves Experience in SEL, education, life coaching, youth development, mental wellness, leadership development, family engagement, professional development, or community programming is strongly preferred. The Right Person for This Role You do not need to be a traditional classroom teacher. However, you must have experience leading group workshops. We are especially interested in people who have the ability to walk into a room and build connection quickly, get people involved, ask meaningful questions, and make participants feel seen and heard. You should be equally comfortable encouraging a student through a confidence-building activity, facilitating a conversation with parents, or leading an interactive professional development experience with school staff.
