Life Enrichment Assistant -
Full Time Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Life Enrichment Assistant to join our assisted living community! The Life Enrichment Assistant plays an important role in creating meaningful experiences and enriching the daily lives of our residents. Position Responsibilities Assist with planning, organizing, and leading daily activities and programs for residents. Encourage resident participation while respecting individual interests, abilities, and preferences. Facilitate a variety of activities including arts and crafts, games, music, exercise, social events, educational programs, and outings. Build positive relationships with residents and help create a welcoming, engaging community. Provide one-on-one engagement for residents who may prefer or require individualized activities. Assist with special events, holiday celebrations, birthday parties, and community programs. Help prepare activity areas, gather supplies, and maintain an organized and inviting environment. Encourage socialization and independence while supporting residents' physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being. Communicate resident interests, needs, and participation with the Life Enrichment team and other members of the care team. Follow all community policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Qualifications Previous experience working with seniors, in assisted living, activities, recreation, hospitality, or a related field is preferred. A positive, patient, and compassionate attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Creative, energetic, and comfortable leading group activities. Ability to work independently while also being a dependable team member. Comfortable interacting with residents with varying physical and cognitive abilities. Must be reliable and able to work the scheduled Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM shift.
