The specialist serves as a primary point of contact for members, providers, and staff to resolve inquiries and accurately document member records in accordance with state and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities Conduct outbound calls to assist members with care plan next steps, scheduling, and ongoing health education. Answer inbound calls to serve as front-line support for member and provider inquiries, including explaining care procedures, protocols, and answering scheduling concerns. Connect members to health plan and community resources, utilizing knowledge of local benefits to make referrals that address Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) needs. Facilitate member onboarding and daily administrative duties by distributing welcome letters, correspondence, and program educational materials. Document and maintain non-clinical member records to ensure standards of practice align with state and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with providers to share necessary non-clinical records and updates. Comply with all organizational policies, standards, and compliance guidelines. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of call center and customer service experience. Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality care support. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Multitasking abilities, capable of balancing administrative tasks with active call handling.
salary:
$17.99 - $18 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5
