Job Description

Position Overview Seeking a reliable, organized, and personable Part-Time Project Assistant to provide administrative, program, and project support. Projects supported through this position focus on mental health, social justice, youth development, community support, and criminal justice/reentry. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting programs that address real-world social and community issues. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student, graduate student, or someone seeking flexible supplemental income who is interested in psychology, mental health, social work, criminal justice, social justice, advocacy, or nonprofit/community-based work. Responsibilities Data entry, spreadsheets, and maintaining program records Organizing digital files, documents, and project materials Making professional phone calls and sending emails Scheduling meetings and coordinating Zoom calls Assisting with PowerPoint presentations and trainings Supporting interns, students, events, and community programs Researching grant opportunities and assisting with grant preparation Attending occasional in-person meetings and events Ideal Candidate Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking on the phone Empathetic and genuinely interested in helping others Computer savvy and comfortable learning new software Able to work independently and follow through Comfortable with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and Zoom Interested in mental health, psychology, youth development, social services, social justice, or criminal justice Comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds No specific degree or extensive experience required. Students and individuals early in their careers are encouraged to apply. Experience with administrative work, customer service, nonprofits, mental health, education, or community programs is a plus. Compensation & Growth Flexible scheduling and primarily remote work. Potential for increased hours, responsibilities, and compensation as projects and businesses grow.
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
