AND ELDERLY. WE ARE ALSO LOOKING TO HIRE AN EXPERIENCED WAIVER SUPERVISOR AND AN ELDERLY SUPERVISOR TO WORK WITH PARTICIPANTS IN THOSE PROGRAMS. SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH EXPERIENCE AS A SUPPORT COORDINATIOR AND WHO IS CERTIFIED TO REVIEW COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF CARES

(CPOC) (WAIVER)

OR WHO IS MDS/IHC CERTIFIED

(ELDERLY). Under the supervision of the Executive Director and Director, the Supervisors will oversee the day-to-day operation of Support Coordination services, supervise Support Coordination staff and assure program compliance according to state and federal guidelines. The Support Coordination program includes the targeted populations, New Opportunities, Residential Options, Supports and Children's Choice Waivers, designated by the Department for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities (OCDD). Applicants must be excellent communicators. You must be proficient in using the computer and have excellent writing skills. Support Coordinator Supervisors review very person centered plans of care and other documents for the people we serve. Excellent organization, critical thinking, problem solving, and interviewing skills are necessary to be successful in this position. Applicants must work well under pressure and be able to meet the many deadlines associated with case management. The perfect candidate MUST possess a Bachelor Degree in a human service field such as Child and Family Studies, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Nursing, etc. A degree in General Studies or Education is accepted with 16 credit hours in human service coursework. Must have transportation, a valid driver's license and maintain current motor vehicle insurance at all times.
