Job Description

IDD Support Coordinator - School-Based The purpose of this position is to work collaboratively as part of the Developmental Services Team at Highlands Community Services (HCS), and the School Based Services Team in planning and providing required services and to aid in the Department/Agency's goals and objectives. This position is critical in aiding to make a positive impact in the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best and most meaningful lives, including support to families and caregivers. With a focus on identifying and coordinating the necessary services, supports, and resources within the community, this position gives you the opportunity for rewarding, hands on work alongside community partners as you weave a network of supports ensuring greater continuity of care.
Position Specifics Location:
Washington County, VA or Bristol, VA Status:
Full-time, Non-exempt, Monday-Friday Compensation:
$18.50 - $20.00 - Commensurate with education/experience.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related fields
