Job Overview The Social Services Manager role has all the major job duties of the Therapists as well as management and training responsibilities. This includes training to new employees; social services staff continued education to enhance skills; lead therapist in the absence of the DCS or as assigned by the DCS; assists with chart auditing and corrections for excellent documentation, additional training of staff as assigned and intern supervision; knowledge of state and federal regulations, auditing and monitoring processes for efficiency, meets with families and visitors as needed, resolves conflicts and provides daily management and assignments to therapists and interns. Duties Lead the planning, development, and implementation of social service programs tailored to meet the needs of clients with disabilities and behavioral health conditions. Supervise and support social service staff, including case managers and behavioral health specialists, ensuring effective team management and staff supervision. Conducts general psychotherapy group sessions as assigned. Demonstrates a high level of clinical skill in assessing the clinical needs of the patient, determining appropriate group interventions and in conducting the group in accordance with these needs Cultivate strong relationships with community partners, clients, families, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and community engagement. Oversee client assessments, service planning, and documentation to ensure quality care and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Provide leadership in staff training, professional development, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team. Monitor program outcomes through data collection and analysis to continuously improve service quality Requirements Extensive experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health conditions. Proven leadership in social services administration with supervisory experience in managing social service program staff. Strong relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated administrative expertise including budgeting, compliance oversight, and program management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively. Excellent writing skills for report writing, documentation, and client communication. Experience working within underserved communities with a focus on social services or social work is preferred. Pay:
$69,321.00 - $83,000.00 per year
