A minimum of three years of professional program management experience, to include a minimum of one year of supervisory experience are required Preferences Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and possessing a Valid driver's license is preferred. Recruitment Notes The ideal candidate will develop and implements strategies to diversify program funding and identify new revenue opportunities to enhance the Youth Development Division beyond traditional operational funding sources. Assist staff in monitoring and evaluating legislative priorities of Miami-Dade County that may impact youth development, economic opportunity, and social justice initiatives. Collaborate with diverse stakeholders , including County departments, representatives from the private sector, municipalities, and regulatory agencies, to strengthen partnerships and enhance the quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of services provided to youth throughout Miami-Dade County. Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships to address legal and regulatory considerations, promote youth economic sustainability, and identify opportunities to increase program funding and revenue. Supervise and provides direction to a multidisciplinary team of professional, job-basis, and clerical staff assigned across multiple bargaining units, ensuring effective coordination of activities, performance management, and delivery of program objectives.
