Role:
The Club Director oversees daily operations at their site, ensuring a safe, structured, and engaging environment for all members. This role supervises front-line staff, manages program flow, and serves as the main point of contact for parents, guardians, and visitors at the club level.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (some college or degree preferred, not required) Must be 21 or older Prior experience supervising staff or leading youth programs Strong organizational and leadership skills Ability to pass background check, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar youth-serving organization Experience managing a team
Responsibilities:
Supervise and support front-line staff during program hours Oversee daily activities, attendance, and site operations Serve as primary contact for parents/guardians at the site Enforce safety, behavior, and program standards Communicate site needs and updates to Senior Club Director Handle day-to-day issues (staffing gaps, member behavior, facility concerns) Maintain accurate records and daily reports
