This role ensures the successful delivery of high-quality youth development programs while overseeing staff, financial management, community partnerships, fundraising, facility operations, safety, and compliance. The Executive Director serves as the face of the Club, fostering relationships with families, community partners, donors, schools, and stakeholders to advance the organization's mission. Essential Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Provide overall leadership and management of Club operations. Develop and implement strategic goals aligned with the organization's mission. Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for youth, families, staff, and volunteers. Maintain compliance with all licensing, organizational, and regulatory requirements. Monitor program quality, membership growth, attendance, and operational performance. Staff Leadership Recruit, hire, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate staff. Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable workplace culture. Support staff professional development and succession planning. Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations. Program Management Ensure the implementation of high-quality youth development programming. Monitor program outcomes and continuously improve member experiences. Promote programs that support Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character & Leadership, Workforce Readiness, STEM, Arts, and Sports & Recreation. Financial Management Develop and manage the Club budget. Monitor expenditures and ensure fiscal responsibility. Review financial reports and implement cost-effective practices. Ensure compliance with grant and funding requirements. Community Engagement & Partnerships Build relationships with schools, businesses, community organizations, and government agencies. Represent the organization at community meetings and events. Develop partnerships that enhance programming and expand opportunities for youth. Resource Development Support fundraising initiatives and donor stewardship. Assist with grant opportunities and sponsorship development. Participate in special events and community engagement efforts. Facility & Safety Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of the Club. Ensure adherence to all safety policies and emergency procedures. Maintain licensing standards and risk management practices. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Education, Human Services, Recreation, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit, education, youth development, recreation, or community programming. Minimum of three years of staff supervision and budget management experience. Experience managing multiple priorities and leading diverse teams. Strong knowledge of youth development principles and best practices. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Boys & Girls Clubs or a similar youth-serving organization. Experience managing grants and nonprofit funding. Experience with state licensing and regulatory compliance. Proven success in community engagement and partnership development. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Budgeting and financial management. Staff coaching and performance management. Conflict resolution and problem-solving. Strategic planning and organizational development. Public speaking and relationship building. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management systems. Physical Requirements Ability to move throughout the Club facility. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Occasional evening and weekend work required. Ability to travel between Club locations and community events as needed.
