Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Associate Camp Director and play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for children and youth during year-round camp and community programming. In this energetic leadership position, you will oversee daily community programming operations, supervise staff and volunteers, and ensure that all activities align with our mission to foster growth, fun, and safety. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help inspire young minds while maintaining a structured and positive atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills while making a meaningful impact on children's lives. Duties Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing daily camp activities that promote youth development, teamwork, and fun. Supervise camp/community programming staff, volunteers, and participants to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Facilitate youth group activities that encourage leadership, creativity, and social skills development. Maintain detailed records of attendance, incident reports, and program evaluations to ensure continuous improvement. Preferred Requirements Proven experience working with children in educational, childcare, or camp settings. Strong management skills with the ability to handle behavioral challenges effectively. Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and knowledge of first aid protocols required; ongoing training provided if necessary. Demonstrated leadership experience in team supervision or youth program facilitation. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels. Excellent communication skills with a passion for mentoring young people and fostering positive relationships.
