The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua, Inc. is a youth development organization that serves children aged six weeks to eighteen years old. Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. PRIMARY FUNCTION OF THIS ROLE

The Director of Social Emotional Wellness provides clinical leadership and oversight of the Club's social emotional wellness strategy and services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed services for Club members (youth) across the organization. This role oversees all social emotional wellness programming, and is the Lead Clinician for all individual counseling, behavioral support activities, and group-based interventions. This role provides direct clinical services to Club members including biopsychosocial assessment, developing treatment goals, implementing evidence-based interventions, and coordinating referrals with other providers to ensure continuity of care and to strengthen community-based partnerships.

KEY ROLES

(Essential Job Responsibilities): As the Director of Social Emotional Wellness / Lead Clinician, your responsibilities include: Providing individual counseling services to youth, ensuring prioritization of high-need youth, including those impacted by trauma, abuse, and neglect. Providing management and clinical supervision of Wellness Center team members to ensure quality of care and adherence to best practices. Overseeing the development and implementation of therapeutic goals, ensuring alignment with evidence-based approaches and youth development frameworks. Leading the design, implementation, and evaluation of social emotional youth programming, including group interventions and curriculum-based models. Establishing and maintaining referral pathways, coordinating with community providers to ensure access to comprehensive care and continuity of services. Overseeing documentation practices, data tracking, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with clinical standards and grant requirements. Ensuring confidential and secure storage of patient records. Supporting/educating Boys & Girls Club youth development staff on social emotional wellness best practices to better support all Club members. Providing a safe environment for all Club members, staff, and families.

REQUIRED

Passion for helping youth become the best version of themselves. Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field required; Independent licensure in New Hampshire (e.g., LCMHC, LICSW, LMFT) required. Minimum of 3-5 years of direct clinical experience, with demonstrated ability to promote teamwork and support other Youth Wellness Center team members. Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor (or eligibility for approval) through the New Hampshire Board of Mental Health Practice strongly preferred. Proven leadership skills, including staff supervision, coaching, and program oversight within a behavioral health or youth-serving setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and community partners. Demonstrated strong professional judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information, ensuring full compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements. Strong commitment to youth, families, and community-based partners, with the ability to build and sustain external partnerships. Must pass a background check. COMPENSATION

Salary at competitive market rate, experience and certification dependent. Includes 6% contribution to pension plan after one-year of employment; employee contribution not required. SCHEDULE

8-hour workdays, Monday through Friday. Competitive vacation plan.

Facility is located at One Positive Place in Nashua, NH, 03060: Must be able to reliably commute to this location, remote options are not offered for this role.
