About Us Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area (BGCAA) is a force for good in the Austin community. We empower young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential. Our Clubs provide a safe, caring, and fun environment where kids can make friends, learn, and grow as they start building Great Futures! The Opportunity We're seeking a passionate and experienced leader to lead our high school location. In this role, you'll be a positive change-maker in the lives of teens, ensuring they have the tools and support to succeed both now and in the future.
What You'll Do Inspire Youth:
Develop and nurture a safe and supportive Club environment, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment for teens.
Oversee Programs:
Manage the implementation of high-quality programming in areas like academic success, character development, healthy lifestyles, and STEM. Build a
Talented Team:
Train and supervise a team of dedicated staff, providing ongoing coaching and professional development. Engage the
Community:
Build strong partnerships with parents, schools, and community organizations to support youth development.
Ensure Operational Excellence:
Manage day-to-day Club operations including budgets, facilities, and safety procedures. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of two years of experience in youth development, with a preference for supervisory experience. A passion for working with teens and providing positive guidance. Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
